REPORT FROM SOUTH-CENTRAL NEBRASKA FARM SALE WEDNESDAY
My friends Miles & Robin with Marshall Land Brokers had a very nice farm auction Wednesday (Feb. 3rd) in south-central Nebraska. I just fed most all the sale price data from this auction into our "auction results" section. Here are a few sale price highlights from today's auction:

  • 2007 JD 8530 MFWD tractor with 597 hours: $205,000
  • 2008 JD 9670 STS combine with 630 engine hours: $180,000
  • JD 1790 16R-30 corn/32R-15 bean planter: $90,000
  • JD 1720 16R-30 planter: $55,000
  • 1979 Chevy C70 grain truck, 20' steel box & hoist: $9,000
  • Krause 2400 28' disk: $10,000
  • JD 726 mulch finisher, 32', 5-bar harrow: $38,500
  • JD 637 32' disk, 9" spacing: $31,000
  • (2) Orthman 996 grain carts: $15,000, $22,500
  • (2) JD 885 8R-30 cultivators: $4,200, $4,500

    Exciting news here I think. A brand new consignment auction started to address the rapidly growing need of buying/selling used precision ag equipment. I know at auctions I've covered over the last 6-9 months the interest level always shoots WAY UP whenever the sale features good used GPS precision equipment for sale.
