NEW VIDEOS POSTED: NEW MEXICO CONSIGNMENT AUCTION YESTERDAY
What a fun day it was yesterday. I was down in Las Cruces, New Mexico to shoot video of Charlie Dickerson's large consignment auction that attracts TONS of buyers from across the border in Mexico. Check the "Machinery Pete Video" link and you'll find the (4) new videos we got posted late last night. Interviews I did with auctioneers Charlie Dickerson and Frank Froes. Frank auctioneers in 3 languages: English, Spanish and German. Charlie slips between English & Spanish seemlessly. The 4th new video from this auction yesterday posting later today....that video will show about 10 or so items as they sold on the auction yesterday. Great chance to hear Charlie call the auction in English & Spanish.....a 1st for me. I want to thank Raul Tellez with the New Mexico Department of Agriculture for inviting me down to the auction and for all the great background information, thanks Raul! Check out the video interview I shot with Raul yesterday. This guy I think is THE MOST CONNECTED ag person I've EVER MET! He wouldn't even let me grab the check for lunch at La Postas. Thanks Raul, that Chicken Chimichanga was delicious :-)

ON TO BIG FARM RETIREMENT AUCTION IN SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS TODAY
After lunch with Raul in Las Cruces, I zipped over to El Paso to catch a flight to Kansas City. Got in about midnight, then put in couple hours of catch up work. A bit of sleep and off to Stock Auction Company's nice farm retirement auction today just north of Wichita. A JD 9220 4WD tractor headlines this farm auction. I'll be there shooting video with my trusty handheld cam. Hope to see you out at the sale.......or maybe at the small (but very nice) farm auction by auctioneer Eddie Pickett in northwest Missouri Friday afternoon. I'll be there shooting video too.
