GREAT NEW VIDEO OF AGCO & ALLIS CHALMERS AUCTION IN NEBRASKA
Last night I posted a new "Machinery Pete Video", highlights from a recent farm auction in east-central Nebraska by Moravec Auction Company featuring a very nice line of Agco & Allis Chalmers tractors, plus a 2002 Gleaner R62 combine with 1773 engine hours. Click on the video link on our homepage to check out this video. Russ did a heckuva job on the sale....and it looks like both he and the auction crowd had a fun time at the sale. There is a fantastic clip in the video, I think it's when the pair of 1996 Agco 9695 MFWD tractors are selling choice. A guy in the crowd reaches up to wipe his nose and.........he almost accidently buys himself a nice Agco 9695! Good stuff, check it out.

    USED EQUIPMENT VALUES SOARING NORTH OF THE BORDER IN CANADA
    Did you happen to catch the headline item on our web site this weekend? A 1992 CaseIH 1660 combine with 1259 hours (no heads) sold for $72,000 on an auction in southwest Ontario, Canada Saturday. Now those are Canadian $$'s obviously, but still....pretty strong buyer demand apparently to pay $72K ($68K + change U.S. $$'s) for an 18-year old combine! I have been hearing from auctioneers for the last 2-3 months now, especially in northern U.S., that they've been getting lot of calls from folks in Canada on upcoming machinery auctions, inquiring about equipment. So what can you do with this bit of information?? Well, if you have a piece of equipment for sale that would possibly be in demand up north across the border, I'd think about ways to get the word out up there. Maybe a classified ad in regional ag paper? Certainly take advantage of free CLASSIFEDS listings on the internet.......like our FREE "Classifieds" section where you can upload 2 pics of each item you list for sale.
